I think I am a curious person at times. I am very curious about things that I am interested in but sometimes not so curious about other things. Project Play has helped me become more curious about some of the new technology out there. Much of this technology can be used to solve problems but we need to be curious enough to investigate it and try it. We can't say it will help not us until be have become "curious" enough to learn out it and play with it. That is what I think Seth Godin was trying to tell us. Don't judge something until you have been "curious" about it.
I enjoyed Project Play but also found it difficult to "play" as much as I would have liked. I would like to go back to the lessons and take my time and "play" a little longer.

Project Play Week 10
Since KPL was already on the map, I placed Kaukauna City Hall.
Mashups are really interesting. At this time I don't have any ideas on using them. It seems the more I learn that more I am aware of how much more I have to learn.

When I first looked at this weeks lesson I thought "this is a fun thing but I don't see how I could use it". Then the assignment find something that you were interested in. I typed in "quilting". I couldn't believe the number of posts and the interesting videos about different types of quilting. ..some good some bad. I can see myself reviewing many of them. I doublt I would post anything myself but you never know.
I can see libraries using youtube for training both staff ans patrons.

Project Play Week 8
The screencasts are great. There is always so much staff training to do and I can see screencasts being very helpful to help train staff especially with computer training either on a blog or possibly just a shortcut on circulation desktops.
Project Play Week Six
I loved the podcast. I can't wait for a reason to use a podcast on our blog. In some cases it would be nicer to communicate with a podcast rather than a written entry.
I did a sample podcast on gabcast. http://www.gabcast.com/index.php?a=episodes&query=&b=play&id=17364&cast=67051&castPage=&autoplay=true
